Our Impact
Cenet’s programs strengthen the U.S. economy, support U.S. foreign policy and national security, and build mutual understanding. We have nearly 30 years of experience,
- Administering 10 international exchange programs
- Serving 3,000 international exchange participants annually
- Supporting 300 American employers through the contributions of our international exchange participants
Through our Magellan consortium, we provide affordable and meaningful study abroad experiences for students from over 35 collaborating universities worldwide, including 18 universities in the U.S.

Cultural Exchange Network (Cenet) was established in the American heartland in 1996 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We strive to inspire future global leaders, fostering a more prosperous and compassionate world through international education and cultural exploration.
Authorized by the U.S. Department of State, Cenet sponsors the Intern, Trainee, Camp Counselor, Summer Work Travel, Research Scholar, Short-Term Scholar, and Specialist BridgeUSA Programs (J-1 Visa) for exchange visitors in the U.S.
Cenet also provides study abroad opportunities to university students around the world through the Magellan Exchange.
